My brother keeps framing me for stuff, how do I stop him!?

This is a difficult situation because it's been going on our whole lives. My brother and I are a year apart; he just turned 18 and I'm turning 17 in a few months. Usually within the stereotypical family, the "baby" or younger sibling gets away with everything, but it's the other way around for me. My brother started this one day years ago when I slid down the slide and he decided to jump on and try to grab me on the way down. I didn't anticipate this and I tried to stop myself. Needless to say it was his fault that his face was in the way and I knocked his baby tooth out. My whole family (aunts, uncles, the like) was there and no one saw! When asked what happened he started bawling and said I kicked him in the mouth on purpose because I was mad. I felt awful because everyone believed him. Another time more recent he slipped and fell in the kitchen when we were playing cards with my best friend. He was mad that I'd won. I don't know why he decided to tell her I tripped him, but he did. To my horror she believed him. He also used to cut pillows and draw on things and my parents always thought it was me! We sat in time out for three hours once because he refused to admit it and then swore to our parents that I admitted it during the time. He's been doing this stuff for years and still does today. He'll do weird pranks and when people get mad he blames me and won't let up. Later he'll laugh about how he got away with it and no one ever hears us. It's kind of creepy sometimes. He cusses at me and calls me names when we argue and no one is around. So, what can I do!? It's really frustrating because this has happened so much that my parents think it's been me all this time. My brother is so subtly deceiving and my step mom finally recognizes it, but my dad won't listen to her. Is there anything I can do to show my parents who I really am? What you can do is buy an exhaust cutout system. Summit Racing sells one for a decent price. What you do is you cut a section of your stock pipe off and replace it with the y-pipe. Cut you deck down a little, the closer to 60 cards you can get it, the better your odds of drawing cards that you may need. You may have too many creatures, also it seems that you may want to narrow your theme down a little. I do several builds of a deck before I call it final, and even then they are never final. If money is short, I wouldn't recommend buying booster packs or boxes to get your cards. Why did my 1993 mazda protege die while driving?

i have a 1993 mazda protege automatic transmission. i've been having problems with my battery draining, so i bought a new battery and brought my alternator to O'Reilly auto parts and got it checked and they say it passed all tests. my friend who has a shop took his volt meter and tested it while it was in my car and it ran 12.2V, so i bought a new alternator and put that in my car and it also read 12.2V. so i was driving home last night and my lights became dimm and it seemed my car didn't want to go into the next gear while i was driving 70mph so it had a high rpms. a couple minutes later my interior and exterior lights were really dimm and my car slowly slowed down and then just died. i had my friend try jump start my car and my car wouldn't start so i had it towed to his shop. what do you think is the problem? how come it won't start when i'm trying to jump it? will the car start with a shot alternator?

I feel no sincerity from this little girl at all. almost everything that comes otu of her mouth is a lie, and she tries to butter me up by saying "mommy, i love u so so so much...can i have some ice cream?".....she hasnt even known me long enough to even be doing this. i feel uncomfortable and I dont like her behavior. she is very VERY disobedient...we tell her to sit down and be quiet, and 30 sec later she is up jumping around and making her sibling cry...we cant even watch a movie! she disrupts everything. at night, she gets up constantly doing random things like running the water in the bathroom sink or clapping to wake up her little sibling. when she is gone, our home is SO SO SO peaceful. when she arrives, all Hell breaks loose. she annoys everyone that is around her. she will grab any random person's phone and start pressing buttons and doing things she shouldnt do. she lied on the daycare provider saying she hit her, when she actually only put her in timeout. this scares me...when she starts school soon, i worry she will say something like that about us and maybe get her and my baby taken from us! i dont know what to do. i dont want to leave my hubby and i told him i would be there to support him, but neither of us knew she was gonna be like this. he just met her for the 1st time recently too. Like if the shy guy is at a loss for words, the other guy will throw something out there to talk about and then step back a little). I enjoy Stewart not so much because he destroys conservative arguments, but because he can do it while remaining civil and polite. I think his interviews with O'Reilly have been great and you can tell that they both respect each other on some level. I think one of his best recent interviews was with Bill Moyers last week. They had a great discussion about the nature of debate and conversation in the media that shouldn't be missed by any fan of the daily show.

Jon Stewart debated O'reilly this week on " The Factor", and at one point in the debate, Jon Stewart pointed out Fox news' " Selective outrage", and he named 4 or 5 other Performers who have been to the white house in recent history, all who have written songs about " Cop Killers" and " Murderers", all of whom Fox News never disputed or pinned the blame on the President over. When these facts were brought to the conversation, O'reilly would just spit out some insult and talk about something else. It's like he refused to acknowledge the fact that the network overlooked all the visitors when Bush and Reagan were in office. And he would not directly respond to it. Why wouldn't he respond to that?

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head about many of the posters on yahoo answers. I get the impression that most people posting on here are extremely young, unestablished in their careers and from a lower socioeconomic background (aka they have no money/savings to speak of). Unless you're trying to have a low budget, DIY wedding on here, don't bother posting any questions because you'll just be told you're materialistic, shallow, selfish, etc. My family is not wealthy. I am, but I work very hard for my money and if I choose to spend my earnings on a large diamond ring for my fiancee and an expensive wedding, so be it. This sounds alot like The Giver. Its a great story, check it out sometime. Now, on to your story, i think it's very well structured. One suggestion i would like to make is to describe the material things in the story a bit more. Tell how the city looks, run down, or bursting with life. Talk about the clothes, how all the people look, how the bracelets look, how the buildings look. This helps the reader visualize the everything and make the story more vibrant. she has been living with me and her dad (my husband) for 5 months on and off.....not 100% of the time because she goes to visit her biological mother...Long story short, she is 5 years old, and everything we teach her goes through one ear and out the other. B4 you guys be judgemental, please hear me out. I have plenty nieces and nephews and my own child and I'm really good with kids. I AM IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM JEALOUS THAT MY HUSBAND HAS A DAUGHTER THAT IS NOT MY CHILD. for 5 months, we tell her to wipe herself after she uses the restroom and she wont. we tell her to stop snaching toys and being mean to her toddler little sibling,....we tell her to stop telling lies....stop being so so so obnoxiously LOUD ALL THE TIME.....stop taking her clothes off in the livingroom and dumping them in the middle of the floor and leaving them there...stop being mischievous & conniving and trying to hurt her toddler sibling when our backs are turned.....i mean everything we teach her she does not and has not improved on AT ALL. every other kid she gets around, she influences them to do bad things and they end up getting in trouble. every daycare provider we take her to has to put her in timeout often....I told my husband I prefer her to not call me mommy because she calls random women mommy to get what she wants...but when she's around her biological mother, she calls me by my name. so now she tries to tell ppl she cant call me mommy and it makes me look bad. I feel no sincerity from this little girl at all. almost everything that comes otu of her mouth is a lie, and she tries to butter me up by saying "mommy, i love u so so so much...can i have some ice cream?".....she hasnt even known me long enough to even be doing this. i feel uncomfortable and I dont like her behavior. she is very VERY disobedient...we tell her to sit down and be quiet, and 30 sec later she is up jumping around and making her sibling cry...we cant even watch a movie! she disrupts everything. at night, she gets up constantly doing random things like running the water in the bathroom sink or clapping to wake up her little sibling. when she is gone, our home is SO SO SO peaceful. when she arrives, all Hell breaks loose. she annoys everyone that is around her. she will grab any random person's phone and start pressing buttons and doing things she shouldnt do. she lied on the daycare provider saying she hit her, when she actually only put her in timeout. this scares me...when she starts school soon, i worry she will say something like that about us and maybe get her and my baby taken from us! i dont know what to do. i dont want to leave my hubby and i told him i would be there to support him, but neither of us knew she was gonna be like this. he just met her for the 1st time recently too. I have a cocker spaniel which has growled at me and I am afraid. What do I do?

I had a bad bad experience with a very young cocker spaniel last year; he began to attack and bite me after his first vet appointment. He tore my skin and I had to put a muzzle on him, hire a trainer, and still he continued with a low growl when I attempted to play with him. I found a rescue that was willing to work with him (two veterinarians thought he was severe enough to be unsafe and recommended putting him down rather than putting him in a shelter where he might end up becoming so fearful that he would not be adoptable[he was a real honey most of the time]}. It took a while but they found a person who was comfortable with working with him for the rest of his life and he is in a great home now. I really loved him, but he injured me on several occasions. Two months after I gave him up, I adopted a large senior golden retriever who was an abandoned stray. He was very quiet and I have grown to love him, but he was not cuddly. I decided to look for another cocker spaniel but to find one that was a little older with an established personality which was not dominant. I have always thought I am fine with dominant dogs, but I had never been attacked and bitten and now it is like a fright valve opened in me that never was open before. So. After another couple of months of talking to various breeders with older cockers, mostly retired breeding females, I found a puppy that was 5 months old. I talked to the breeder. She described him as a cuddle bunny, not aggressive at all, mostly house broken, and great with other dogs (besides the other cockers, she had a newfoundland). She sent me loads of pictures of him, playing with her grandson, being groomed. I drove down and met him and he was all she said. But, and I did not listen to my inner voice, I worried, what if he becomes dominant and bites. Still I took him. For 2 weeks he was perfect and I was beginning to really relax around him. Suddenly, he began to attack my rescue golden. It escalated. I was on the phone almost daily with the breeder and called the trainer who had worked with the other puppy. The trainer was appalled that I had gotten another cocker and chastised me and told me just to return him to the breeder, that the breed is bad, why not get a King Charles Cavalier spaniel (which have some pretty dreadful neurological problems and heart problems). At first I was so shocked at what she said, I decided to give the puppy back and then just like that the aggression stopped. Boom. The Golden is not the alpha, the cocker is and it is established. They play, things have been just awesome. I have a cuddly wonderful cocker whom I trust. This Sunday my adult daughter who has a chronic illness came for a visit. This was not the first time and often she is whiney when she visits. She moved from her seat onto the couch next to the cocker who was between us. She was trying to show me something on the computer and I could not see the screen. I told the pup to get off and he did not move. I put my hands under him and began lifting him off and he growled and snarled at me. I got him off and reprimanded, no growling. Later he was on the couch next to me after my daughter was gone and I needed to move him and he growled again. First off this is Thursday and for the whole week I have felt frozen around him. Is that an over reaction? Probably. I do not want to have to do the whole I am the boss thing again. I trusted him so much and now this. So I had a thought. Let's just avoid the problem by getting him off the couch with a reward when I tell him. It has worked. If I am sitting and I invite him up and a while later I need him off, I just say, Get on off, in a high pitched friendly voice and when he obeys I say good dog etc. No growling now for 3 days. But I am totally afraid inside. How on earth do I get over this fear? The trainer may have been right and I was a fool to chance a cocker again, but it is too late now. The breeder has told me that she will take him back no matter when, no matter the circumstances, so I never have to keep him. And with this feeling of not trusting in my belly, I don't know what to do. He was growling at the golden and leapt up to nip him and at the same time I bent over and his open mouth touched my face. He instantly pulled away, not letting the nip happen. So. He is not my other cocker. But I am so anxious. What do I do to calm myself down.
