Please Help!! Worried how to ask for raise working with workaholic uncle after 3 years.?

CaCO3 has given an exhaustive reply. I am not aware of the law in the US. However, while in office you should not be thinking of ur personal relationship of the uncle but a boss. Before u ask for a raise, find out the progress of the company, whether raisse is possible, others have got it or not, etc. Also while asking for a raise, get full facts and figures to support ur claim. In the meantime, if u have sufficiently learnt the tricks of the trade, u should look for an alternative job in the same line, with not salary as the only consideration but also dignity in work place, the general atmosphere, future propsects etc. Take ur fiance into confidence.
